課程概述	本課程主旨在簡介世界史前史，由第一個被辨識為人類所製造的石器的出現開始，至人類進入古文明國家，其間不同文化階段的發展，並討論考古學與史前史研究的學者如何探討人類文化發展的過程、其間面臨的問題與須再發展的議題。
課程目標	簡介世界史前史，由人群擴張、農業起源、社會轉型及新技術的產生等方面來看考古學者如何理解文化適應的過程
課程要求	課程要求: 期中考40%，期末考30%，隨堂作業及口頭報告20%，課堂討論10% 每堂課都會有隨堂作業，當場交出。請假請以電郵事先告知。不接受課後請假。每位修課學生都必須上台報告一次，回家作業必須依照正式學術寫作方式書寫，並請準時交出。考試依據學校規定的時間進行。若有重大緊急事件無法參與考試，必須於事前向老師提出，並提供相關證明文件。若對成績有疑問，請於拿到成績後的一星期內向老師提出。
